Moreover, Pierce walked away with NBA Finals MVP, which was a pretty incredible achievement. However, the conspiracy surrounding this moment is that Pierce actually had to go to the bathroom. Some believe he had an accident in his shorts and needed to be carried off in order to hide his desperate situation. Now, however, he is being given an opportunity to speak on it.

Pierce and Kevin Garnett recently took a trip to the Celtics facility where they interviewed Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. During the conversation, Brown asked Paul Pierce about what really went down that day. Pierce seemed a bit embarrassed by the question, however, he answered it regardless. As you can see, he blames the wheelchair moment on a sprained MCL. Garnett was a bit confused by what the rumors were, which led to a hilarious explanation from Pierce. Either way, Pierce is standing on the fact that he was truly injured.
Despite his recent explanation, not everyone is going to believe Pierce. Pierce is one of those media personalities that NBA fans love to hate. However, you have to take him at his word here.
