Offset says that his final collaboration with the late Migos rapper Takeoff will appear on his upcoming album. He played the track for Variety for a new interview.
“You wanna hear my last song with Takeoff?” he asked the interviewer. Offset noted that the pair recorded it last summer and rapped along as it played. “You gotta see this!” he told the outlet at one point while lifting up his hoodie to display his tattoo of Takeoff’s face sprawled across his back. “It’s my favorite picture of him. I like it because he had his glasses off.”

Offset & Takeoff
After playing the song, he reflected on the death of his longtime Migos partner. “It’s hard for me to talk about shit right now,” he admitted to the outlet. “I’ve never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man. Talking about all this shit is hard. That’s why I don’t, to be honest. That shit hurts. Like, it’s gonna put me in a mood, and I don’t want to get in that mood. Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here. That shit feels fake, bro. I get through my day thinking it’s fake. And I don’t say nothing to nobody about it.”
Offset then remarked, “I think I need to take a break,” and headed into the other room. He popped back in only to say goodnight. Elsewhere in the interview, he revealed that he and Quavo aren’t actually biologically related, despite being often referred to as cousins.
