Festival season is right around the corner. Numerous festivals slated for the spring and summer already announced their lineups this year. Most recently, Dreamville announced that Dreamville Fest will take place the first two days of April. The headliners for the event include Drake, J. Cole, Usher, Summer Walker, and more. Additionally, Pusha T and Malice of Clipse are set to perform together for Chicago’s Hype Park Summerfest. Also, earlier this year in January, Travis Scott, 50 Cent and more landed on the lineup as headliners for Wireless Fest. So, it seems that festival posters and big names have been flying around everywhere to start the year. And with this, Country Grammar star Nelly wanted to join the fun.

On Feb. 28, Nelly announced that he’d be hosting a brand new festival called Hot In Herre. Named for one of the biggest hits of his career, Hot In Herre Festival takes place in Toronto on June 24. Aligning with his specific era of hip-hop, the lineup includes some 2000s legends. T.I., Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, Akon, and more will all perform at the show. Located at Downsview Park in Toronto, Hot In Herre will be the first festival Nelly has organized.

In a press release associated with the announcement, Nelly gave a statement about his excitement for Hot In Herre. “Toronto is one of my favorite cities to perform in, and the fact that I get to come back and bring all the people that came up with me in the industry means everything,” he said. “We have a lot of surprises in store for you, Toronto, and the Hot in Herre team can’t wait for this summer.” However, this announcement comes just a few weeks after Nelly worried some fans at a festival. At Juicy Fest in January, he exhibited troubling behavior on stage. However, it seems he does not have any health concerns related to the incident.

Along with Nelly’s statement, Hot In Herre’s co-organizer Nostalgia Inc. also gave some words in regards to the fest. “From ‘Ride Wit Me’ to ‘Dilemma’ to ‘Just a Dream’ every song will likely strike a chord,” they wrote. “So come equipped with bucket hats, low-rise camouflage pants, and film cameras galore, because these artists are getting ready to transport their fans back to a time when the most important thing was updating your Facebook status.” Just a few months away, tickets for the event are now available here.
