7:30PM ET June 19th, 2012 The Kanye West-led G.O.O.D. Music crew has been announced as an addition to the performer lineup at this year's BET Awards. The label roster will be performing on television for the first time as a collective, with the show taking place at 8pm on July 1st. Superstars Meagan Good, Kevin Hart and more will also be on-hand as presenters and honorees. Lil’ Wayne “Moving On” From His Beef With Pusha-T
Lil’ Wayne wants to make peace with Pusha T and “move on” from their back and forth lyrical battle. Check out what he told the AP below:
“I just finished recording my “I Am Not a Human Being II” album. And we’re starting to work on the Young Money album. … It really wasn’t no beef, you know. It was just me. I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction. I don’t apologize for it because I’m human. But it was just my human reaction. I don’t take it back. But there’s no beef. Beef is a whole different thing. … I’ll move on.” Is Wayne backing down from Pusha-T because his sub-par diss, “Ghoulish,” was no match for Pusha’s clever word play in “Exodus 23:1″? What are your thoughts on Weezy ending his beef with Pusha-T?
Ever since Ma$e tweeted that he “just got a G.O.O.D offer,” rumors have been swirling that Kanye West was looking to sign him to his growing roster. News broke yesterday that G.O.O.D Music will be performing at the 2012 BET Awards, and an exclusive source has told us that Ma$e may be performing with the G.O.O.D Music crew on stage.
Ma$e has been in talks with Kanye West about jumping on the “Mercy” remix and performing it at the award show. But just because Ma$e may come out with the crew doesn’t mean he’s signed yet. “Kanye wants to see how the people respond to seeing Ma$e perform again” said our source. “His fate with G.O.O.D Music depends on how hot his verse is on the “Mercy” remix as well as how he performs on stage.”
I heard a lil’ rumor that Rick Ross and friends may have “compelled” Waka Flocka to fall back off those statements he made about people watering down his style. You remember the interview he did with Complex, right – where he basically said Rick Ross stole his style. Here’s a refresher on what he said below:

Drake Discusses Third Album
''No One Can Do What I Do, Period''
6:00AM ET June 19th, 2012 Drake put aside his personal drama and spoke to MTV News about his musical growth and what he anticipates will be his focus as he gears up to record his follow-up to 2011's Take Care. “The music that I make is bigger than the box that people try to put us all in as rappers,” Drake explained. “And people always try and draw me back to that like ‘Nah just rap.’ Nah, I’m good. I like what I do. No one can do what I do, period. That’s how I feel. Nobody can really do what I do, what we do. Including 40 and all the producers that I work with.” “[There's] nothing necessarily for me to step up and say I want to fight for, but there is a way for me to give moments to the world, and to bear my emotions and hope that I'm remembered as that guy who was able to bring people together," he added. "I want to be that guy. I want to bring people together." Is Memphitz A Woman Beater?!
If any of you watched the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” premier last night, you know the show was crazy!!! So much foolishness going on that it’s hard to keep up. Well, one of the main storylines for the show was the domestic violence abuse accounts from cast member, singer K. Michelle. K.Michelle didn’t name her abuser’s name, but dropped enough hints that the Twitterverse was buzzing that her alleged abuser was Mickey “Memphitz” Wright.
For those that don’t know, Memphitz is a music executive at Jive records and is also married to Lil’ Wayne’s ex-wife, Toya. He was also one of the hosts for BET’s show “The Deal” along with Nicki Minaj’s DJ, Diamond Kutz. On the show, K. Michelle detailed how she was in a violent relationship with the man who signed her to a record deal at Jive and how he “beat her *ss.”
K. Michelle said he “blacked out” on her with physical abuse during their romantic relationship, but also blew through her entire recording budget to lavish himself with pricey toys and chains. Damn, did Weezy’s ex-wife marry a woman beater? Not according to Toya! The reality TV star, who is currently in Paris with Memphitz celebrating their one-year anniversary of marriage, re-tweeted a tweet that speaks to the contrary, and basically calls K. Michelle a “hater.” Check it out below: “@MeMpHiTz & @ToyaWright been married a whole year now all of a sudden ppl accusing him of being abusive??#HATERSINDABUILDIN”If you didn’t get a chance to watch the show, it was highly entertaining, and I recommend catching the premier episode.
